Let’s get creative with images and language and get inspired by visual art to craft poetic. We invite all ages and skill levels to join Kansas Poet Laureate Traci Brimhall at the Museum of Art + Light for a hands-on opportunity to learn more about ekphrastic poetry—a poem that vividly describes a work of visual art. Sample some poems, examine some writing prompts, select some favorite works of art on view and create. Spend an hour in this workshop and create a poem or two!
