Preview, Plan, and Explore! Calling all regional educators! Whether you teach K-12, higher education, or homeschool students, you are invited to enjoy special access to what is on view this fall at the Museum of Art + Light.

Preview exhibitions, gather classroom resources, and begin planning a future visit with your students. Explore Picasso: Art in Motion in our immersive Mezmereyz Galleries, spend time in our digital and fine art galleries, and connect with fellow educators while discovering new ways to bring art, technology, and creativity into your classroom.

A brief welcome and presentation will take place at 5:00 PM. The presentation will highlight exhibitions and educational opportunities available during fall 2026 and spring 2027.

Open House Schedule

4:30 – 5:00 PM: Arrive + Network
5:00 – 5:30 PM: Brief Welcome + Presentation
5:30 – 6:30 PM: Explore + Network + Plan

USD 383 educators teaching grades 3 through 8 can also learn about grant-funded museum admission and bus reimbursement opportunities available for student visits.

Admission is $10 per educator and includes one adult beverage, snacks, and access to the entire museum, including the Mezmereyz special exhibition space.

NOTE: Advance registration is required to reserve your space. The registration fee includes access to Picasso: Art in Motion at a special rate available only to educators attending this event.
